Route
1. First, our adventure begins at Reef Point. We will meet at the staircase behind the restroom building that leads down to the Reef Point tidepools.
2. We will explore the tide pools at Reef Point. Note: “The tidepools at Crystal Cove State Park are designated as Marine Protected Areas and are protected by law. Picking up animals and/or moving them from their pools is prohibited” (Tidepool FAQ’s).
3. Then, we will head to Shake Shake. Crystal Cove Shake Shack is located along the path, has amazing views, perfect for selfies, a group photo, and shakes.
4. We will continue the adventure onto the Crystal Cove Beach Cottages. The colony is a Historic District with 46 coastal cottages. The restored cottages from the 1930s and 1940s make for an iconic and memorable walk.
5. Next, on our day adventure is the Beachcomber for a drink, refreshment, or bite to eat.
6. We will return back to the Reef Point Parking Lot by foot or rideshare.
