Jack-o'-lantern Jamboree to Benefit the AIDS Food Store
Grateful Hearts, Full Pantries. This event speaks volumes about the spirit of our chapter. Be outstanding and help collect items for the AIDS Food Store.
We invite you to bring a non-perishable item (no glass or jars), toiletries or hygiene products, or pet food. See the donation list below. Items will be collected and donated to the AIDS Food Store. Thank you kindly.
We welcome allies and newcomers to participate with us in this fun and meaningful night.
Games, Good Eats, Costumes and More. The Jack-o'-lantern Jamboree will be located at an award winning home and Halloween hotspot. Superb ambience for our event, sharing fun Halloween vibes, and joining together as a community. RSVP today to experience the captivating decorations.
Hors d'oeuvres and wine provided.
Choice of games: board games, Jenga, corn hole, et cetera.
Attire: festive and fun. We are looking for the following:
Best Iconic Duos or Groups: think Scooby-Doo's Velma and Daphne, Super Mario's Mario and Luigi, or The Flintstones.
Fairy Tales, Legends, and Oral Traditions: think Thor, Peach Boy, Quetzalcoatl, and Paul Bunyan.
Fall Fashion: think lumberjack, scarecrow, vintage, western, and Marc Jacobs 1993.

6:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.
Location: private residence in the City of Orange, California. Indoors. Address provided to approved guests prior to the event.
Entrance: check-in at the front door.
Parking: Carpooling suggested. Street parking available. Please park on the street, away from the driveway and not directly across the driveway.
For attendees out of the area, make it a day or night. Enjoy the beach, sites, and all O.C. has to offer.
Member: $40.
Non-member: $50.
New membership plus Jack-o'-lantern Jamboree ticket: $85.
Student or service: $25.
Sponsor: $250+ to help support the event. One ticket included. Sponsors will be acknowledged at the event.

The gay community has faced and continues to face obstacles.
HIV/AIDS: Research, education, and support is essential for health and wellness. Prevention and care include, high availability for preventative medications such as PrEP, high availability of testing for at-risk communities, aggressive treatment, food and hygiene donations, and subsidies for HIV/AIDS-related medications and treatment.
About the AIDS Food Store: “In 1985, a group from Christ Chapel Long Beach came together to address the issue of hunger in a community where many social service agencies were unable or unwilling to help. In November 1985, AIDS Food Store Long Beach was born, with a commitment that no one in the Long Beach area living with HIV/AIDS disabilities would ever be without food, love and support.
Our clients are men, women and children whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS disabilities. Today, after almost four decades of distributing many tons of food to thousands of clients, AFS remains true to its mission…”
Donation Item List
Non-perishable Items (no glass or jars): pasta, nuts, popcorn, tea, coffee, granola bars, and can openers.
Toiletries and Hygiene: toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, hand soap, dish soap, sanitizer, lip balm, sunscreen, and eye drops.
Pet Items: dry or wet dog food and dry or wet cat food.
